Late morning on February 24, 2006, Charles emailed they had bought land in Eronga and were going to build on it. I immediately wrote back: "That is my dream." He immediately wrote back that the corner lot was available. I ran the money, around the corner in Austin, to their credit union. The dream started happening in less than 45 minutes. It was very un-real, just like a dream: I had purchased land, sight-un-seen, in Mexico. But, I knew I had done what I had wanted.
There is a PBS production company called "Flying Leap." Their logo is a person's feet, standing on an edge, ready to leap. Maybe, sometimes, the best way to follow a dream is to start with a flying leap.
Here is a recap of the building!
